What You’ll Need

  • Printed family photos
  • Construction paper or cardstock
  • Glue sticks
  • Scissors
  • Markers / colored pencils
  • Stickers / stamps
  • Washi tape
  • String or ribbon
  • Mason jars / boxes / envelopes
  • Notebook or scrapbook

Setup (5 Minutes)

  1. Clear the coffee table or dining table.
  2. Put supplies in bowls or baskets.
  3. Play soft music.
  4. Display old photos or keepsakes for inspiration.

Activity Ideas

1. Family Memory Scrapbook

Each person creates one page with:

  • Favorite memory
  • Photo or drawing
  • Date
  • Why it matters

When finished, combine pages into one family scrapbook.

2. Memory Jar

Write memories on slips of paper:

  • Funny moments
  • Vacations
  • Kind things family members did
  • Goals for future memories

Place all notes in a jar. Read one each week.

3. Photo Story Frame

Decorate a picture frame and place a family photo inside.
